Little Blue Villa Details

 

​LITTLE BLUE is a luxurious, comfortable and modern bayfront villa located in the affluent L’Anse aux Epines area on the spectacular South East coast of Grenada.   Little Blue is named after the elegant Little Blue heron birds who frequent the bay.  They are often spotted in the trees and on the beach and occasionally beside the pool of the villa.  Once in a while an iguana may bob their head at you from the bougainvillea.

 

This beautiful villa sits in a sheltered cove and is surrounded by a small tropical garden. A large terrace and dining area overlooks a calm, palm-filled bay with views out to sea. A turquoise infinity pool and separate lounging pool sit alongside a breezy and sun filled gazebo.

Designed on one level (with steps down to the terrace) and sleeping 8 in 4 bedrooms, all en suite, the villa is spacious and practical and is stylishly furnished for relaxation and comfort on your holiday. The kitchen is fully fitted with gas oven, microwave and a wide range of crockery and cooking implements. 

​

The central area of this Caribbean villa is designed as one roomy double height space with a central clerestory. It is planned as 2 seating areas, a kitchen area, dining area and office area. Four spacious bedrooms lead off the central space and each have a double bathroom attached.

 

The villa was extensively refurbished and modernised in 2015 and its living spaces are comfortable and relaxed.

The villa is a 20 minute drive from Grenada airport and 10 minutes from the shops and amenities of Grand Anse beach. There are several excellent restaurants within a few minutes’ drive, as well as a number of other stunning beaches within close proximity.

​Entrance Hall – welcoming entrance hall with views to the bay leading into the central open plan living area. Guest washroom with large scale maps of Grenada and the West Indies.

Master Bedroom – bay facing and with a view over the pool with a king sized colonial posted bed. Double closets, one with safe. Spacious modern shower room with double vanity basins. Dressing table/desk unit.

Luxury Bedroom – king sized four poster bed. Views over the garden. Double closet and clothes drawers. Modern shower and vanity area leading to spacious bathroom with large bath and double vanity unit.

Lime Tree Bedroom – 2 wide single beds. Views onto the garden and a distant glimpse of the sea through the neighbouring property. Double closets. Modern and spacious shower room with double vanity unit.

Garden Bedroom – king sized bed with views over the palm filled bay on one side and gardens on the other.   Large clothes cupboard with safe. Large modern shower room with double vanity basins and open views over the bay.

Kitchen area – low level units with six burner gas oven, dishwasher, fridge and 1.5 unit sink. Attached utility room with second large fridge for drinks and storage, microwave oven, washing machine and separate dryer, blender, ironing equipment and assorted kitchen goods and utilities.

Open plan area – luxurious seating areas for 6-8 people each, one looking over the bay, the other around a 42” plasma and bluray player. Small DVD and bluray collection available.  Fans over the window area, sun blinds to shield the afternoon sun. Air conditioning unit serving the TV area.   Office corner unit with computer printer, CD player and Ipod dock and small collection of CD’s. Speakers within the terrace and gazebo. WIFI connects the whole house and reaches to the terrace and gazebo

Terrace – 6 wide curved tiled steps lead to the spacious south-west facing terrace and infinity pool. Separate poolside shower. Shaded pergola dining area seats 8. Large Weber barbeque, gazebo area perched over the sea seats 4 in comfortable chairs. Other seating areas and sunbeds with a large sun awning for shade.  2 single kayaks are available for use in the bay but should not be used outside the bay.

​

Gym - the tropical side garden houses a small gym with a running machine, cross trainer and a small number of free weights.

 

Electricity - The villa is wired throughout with English plugs.

 

Little Blue is a non smoking villa. An ash tray is provided for smoking outside only.
